Vopak starts with DMS 4.1 from Softpak for several weeks now.
Vopak Energy and Vopak Terminal Vlaardingen is been using DMS 4.1, software from Softpak. From its own ERP systems, Vopak supplies the required data to Softpak’s CDS module, for both the Application Notice (I2-B) and the Supplementary Declaration (IM Z). Vopak uses the chain arrangement. After submitting the supplementary declaration, Vopak will receive the UTB.
After a period of testing, this interface has now been put into production.
DMS 4.1 replaces the GPA. In addition, Vopak also uses Softpak’s DMS 4.0 software for regular Import and Export declarations.
