Organi/Softpak becomes main sponsor of ‘De Maritieme Pint’, the popular networking event of the Antwerp Traffic Club. With this commitment, the independent software group underlines its ongoing focus on the logistics sector and its strong ties to the Antwerp port community.
Organi/Softpak once again proves its dedication to the Antwerp port world through its recent sponsorship of De Maritieme Pint. This accessible, bi-monthly networking event by the Antwerp Traffic Club (A.T.C.) is gaining increasing popularity and aligns perfectly with the marketing strategy of Organi/Softpak.
Kristof Poulain (Softpak): “In the world of logistics-related software, we’re seeing a trend of takeovers by expensive international firms and a halt in the development of ERP packages for freight forwarding. As an independent software group, Organi/Softpak wants to invest in software specifically for forwarding, warehousing, and customs. De Maritieme Pint, the maritime world’s go-to networking event, is the ideal platform to emphasize this. Work Hard, Play Hard is a philosophy that both our organizations naturally share.”
Marc Devught (ATC/Maritieme Pint): “On behalf of the entire A.T.C. board, we thank Organi for becoming our new main sponsor. We allow only one sponsor per sector, and we’re pleased that Organi has filled the software slot.”
Founded in 1981, the Antwerp Traffic Club has always aimed to enhance the image of the port and create enjoyable networking moments that foster collaboration between employees and executives in the maritime and logistics sector.
Since 2011, the A.T.C. non-profit has organized networking evenings under the name De Maritieme Pint — the only free afterwork event in our sector, made possible solely by our sponsors. The alderman of the port traditionally serves as the event’s patron. Marc Devught explains: “As coincidence would have it, one of the founding fathers in 1981 was Philippe De Ridder, father of our former Port Alderman and current Minister of Mobility and Ports, Annick De Ridder.”
“We look forward to welcoming Organi at our next event on April 11 at the Gaarkeuken.”
