As a Software Project Manager you contribute to the change of Softpak’s IT Systems to a Web & App based environment.

Organisation:

Softpak offers integrated logistics solutions for port-related companies such as shipping companies & shipbrokers, logistics service providers (WMS), forwarders including customs and container terminals and depots. From the head office in Ridderkerk, around 45 people work every day in an informal atmosphere to improve and renew Softpak’s software packages.

Function:

As a Software Project Manager within Softpak, you come into contact with various technical components. You ensure that the entire change within Softpak’s IT Systems will run smoothly. Based on your experience, you create a thorough plan of action that should ultimately result in a successful transition to a Web & App based environment. Planning is important here, you ensure that realistic goals are set and milestones are achieved. When issues arise, you are the point of contact and you take the necessary actions. You consult with your IT colleagues within IT Management and you are jointly responsible for all projects.

Profile:

HBO work & thinking level and preferably a completed education in the field of IT;
At least 3 years of experience in a similar role;
Knowledge of methodologies such as Scrum/Agile and IAD/RAD;
Experience in the field of Software Development projects; Familiar with Test Cases (TMap or similar);
Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture environments (TOGAF or similar).
